This internationally oriented series of publications sees itself as an open academic forum, aiming to extend the readership base for research in highly diverse fields of art history and heritage conservation. As both scholarly publications and reading books, the individual volumes reflect immense diversity, from source documents to monographs and interdisciplinary research in the aforementioned disciplines. The editors relaunched the series with Volume 5, published in 2020, giving it a new, contemporary concept and appearance.
