Werner Reinisch (*1930) is the oldest active German painter, lives in France since many years and is thus considered a living symbol of Franco-German friendship.

On the occasion of his 60 years in France and the 60th anniversary of the Élysée Treaty, the exhibition shows current works as well as aphorisms and memoirs written by the artist himself.
