Symphonie in Schwarz | Book presentation

The portrait of a lady smoking a cigarette by Oskar Zwintscher is the starting point of the new book Symphonie in Schwarz by Andreas Dehmer and Susanna Partsch. Who is this self-confident woman who presents herself so differently from her contemporaries? The question leads to an exciting search for traces of the modern woman in art around 1900.

The book presentation will now take place at Stadtarchiv Dresden with Dr. Susanna Partsch and Dr. Andreas Dehmer.

The event will be held in German.
